(8"x8") The adaptability of the human brain is a double-edged sword. You may find a flower in a field beautiful one day, but days on end of sitting in a field full of them, well... you just... get used to it and it isn't quite as beautiful as it once was. That is just the nature of our experience as human beings. And as I've touched upon before, Arizona, for me, was never a place I liked much growing up; the lack of green, the grueling summers. Yet, as I've aged, I've come to appreciate it all once again as it were a fresh sight for the first time. Mountains are these beautiful giants that were once crashing out of the ground and Arizona is engulfed in them. It's a wondrous sight when compared to, say, the flat plains of Texas. And so for that I am grateful. Anyway, that's all. My first and last post of January of the new decade. I hope you are doing well. I'm going to try my darndest to make a shit ton more art than I am now. This was just some practice mountains inspired by something I saw on @freepik at work today. I loved the colorful style. Huge thanks to @freepik for making my day-to-day work life full of beautiful, inspiring art.
